Year 2 Teacher

I was born and raised in Heidelberg and only knew Alphington as someone I used to play in Saturday netball, until now! After attending University with a Bachelor of Education specialising in Inclusive Education, I moved to Euroa to teach in a small school of 50 with a composite 2/3 class. Missing the hustle and bustle of city life, I moved back and started teaching at Alphington. This will be my third year of teaching at Alphington PS and I absolutely love it.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, adventuring, playing country netball, and going to Pilates. I always have a trip booked in to look forward to, and this year it’s to Vietnam! I also love hanging out with my puppy  (he’s 9 now, but still my baby), Rocky. He’s a Kelpie Cross and is such a sook!

I am looking forward to another year at Alphington 🙂 Bring on 2025!

Jack Wilson

Hello, I’m Jack, and this is my first year at Alphington Primary School. In 2025, I will be teaching Year 5.

I grew up in Cowes, Phillip Island, playing footy, basketball, and cricket. Although I was surrounded by water, I’m unfortunately not a very good swimmer. However, in my free time, I love to exercise, and swimming has been on my agenda recently. I moved to Melbourne three years ago to pursue my studies, and I have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, specialising in mathematics. I have a passion for travel, with my favourite trip being to the United States, where I was able to watch many of my favourite sports live.

I support Collingwood in the AFL, but please don’t hold it against me. I’m still reminiscing about 2023…

I’ve already felt a very warm welcome from the Alphington Primary School community, and I look forward to meeting more of you throughout the year. Happy 2025!
