Maths 

The students in my math group have been working on their place value knowledge. We worked on identifying the tens and ones in two-digit numbers and have been working on counting forward and backward by ones and tens. 

Students will work on addition and subtraction for the next few weeks. We will begin by adding numbers to 30. 

Please note that Matific is now up and running for both maths groups. The students have been assigned work to complete as part of their home learning. 

Shrove Tuesday 

To compliment our learning about Lent, the students enjoyed some pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. 

Star of the Week 

Our star of the week in 1/2T for next week will be Esther!

This is a reminder that each student will have a chance to be the star of the week. When it is your child's turn, they can bring up to three items in to share with the class as 'show and tell'.
