🛶 Studley Park Boathouse - March 28th 🛶

Hi everyone! The social committee has made a reservation at Studley Park Boathouse on March 28th between the times of 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm. 

The Social Committee is planning an afternoon at Studley Park Boathouse in Kew later this term. The plan is to meet up for a drink in the afternoon on Saturday March 28th, with the option to rent a rowboat, canoe or kayak for those that are interested on the day (boat rental info here - noting rates are per boat).

🔴 AEU UPDATE 🔴

AEU members should have already received an email with the ballot result, which said:

"A massive 77% of members voted in the ballot to endorse industrial action with a huge 95% average support for each of the actions. Under the Fair Work Act, this means that members are now lawfully permitted to take protected industrial action.

The planned 24-hour statewide stopwork will go ahead on Tuesday 24 March. Members will rally at Victorian Trades Hall at 10.30am before marching to Parliament House for a second rally."

If you are not yet a member please considering joining us today so that you can be part of the industrial action.

If you are a member please read the email sent to you today carefully. We will also be providing more information in a meeting early next week. Details to be confirmed.
