Year 3/4 discovering the journey of water

Our students have been exploring the wonderful world of the Water Cycle. We have been strengthening our knowledge and deepening our understanding through hands-on experiments.

As they learn about this important process, they are discovering the amazing journey water takes. From finding different sources of water to learning how it moves through the sky, students are building their understanding of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation in exciting and practical ways.

Through experimenting, observing, and asking great questions, they are not only learning how the water cycle works, but also developing a real appreciation for how important water is in our everyday lives. 

It has been wonderful to see their curiosity grow as they soak up new knowledge and enjoy every step of their learning journey!

Junior School Welcome Picnic Highlights

Last Thursday, we were excited to host our annual Welcome Picnic for our South Plympton Campus families, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! With the beautiful weather, it was the perfect setting for everyone to come together. 

Students enjoyed games, music, slushies, doughnuts, and face painting, and were eagerly running from one activity to another, while adults joined in the fun as well. It was wonderful to see new friendships forming and families connecting. 

Thank you to our amazing Emmaus staff and to everyone who came along and helped make it such a special time for our South Plympton community. We loved seeing our families come together and look forward to many more moments like this throughout the year
