Dear Parents,
Last year the senior playground equipment was upgraded and our students have been enjoying it immensely. Today, you will notice that temporary fencing has been erected around the junior playground in preparation for its removal and replacement.
Fortuitously this coincides with swimming lessons, which means that the oval and playground are out of bounds at recess and lunch times. This is due to the fact that there are smaller numbers on the yard at any one time and we have limited capacity for staff to supervise as there are also staff either at swimming or travelling to and from the venue.
The new playground will be a great addition for all to enjoy once the temporary fencing is removed. The playgrounds have been, in part, funded by our Parent Association money raising events, so on behalf of the school I thank all those that contributed to those activities.
Please feel free to join us on the last day of Term, April 4 from 12 midday for our Whole School Holy Week Performance followed by the very popular Easter Raffle.
Students will be dismissed for the term at the end of the assembly expected to be at 1.30pm.
Our Catholic Social Teaching principle for Week 4 is Subsidiarity and Participation.
