Rooms Upgraded

Rooms 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10 had major holiday makeovers.

All but room 9 were more or less finished and good to go for Wednesday. There was a huge amount of work done - all the hot water pipes and radiator water heating systems were removed, new high windows and winders installed, all walls covered in cool blue Autex and everything painted. Lots of electrical work was also completed in these rooms.

In the next holidays rooms 2, 6, 7 and 8 will be likewise done.

Rooms 12 and 13 will also start in the April school holidays but may not be finished in time for the start of term 2. If so, we will make temporary alternative arrangements for these two classes for the first two weeks of term 2.

The toilet blocks beside rooms 8 and 9 and beside room 19 will be done starting in March. These areas will be closed off to children, and alternative toilets will be available to children impacted by this.

Room 1 - our Library - will close down for about two weeks sometime in term one, so it can be upgraded.

More projects are set down for the end of term two holidays. We have had to run the projects in this timeframe. Otherwise, we would be waiting until next Christmas for several of them to be done, and that is too long to wait!
