Term 1

Welcome back to Term 1! Proudly Port Melbourne!

I hope everyone has settled back into the routines of school lunches, drop off and pick up and before and after school activities! An extra big welcome to the new families of PMPS.

We’ve already had our first event for the Prep families - The Boohoo Woohoo. This took place at The Chandlery on Beach St. Thank you to Dee for getting this event organised and thank you to Annalie and Paisley for keeping me company while checking the families in.

The Chandlery was a great event space with delicious food and a beautiful view. We were lucky enough to have Mr Cain come by and The School Council President Gareth as well.

Next up….

The Colour Run Welcome Picnic

When: Friday 28 February

Tickets: $12 available on the event page on the Parent Hub.

On Friday February 28th head over to Garden City Reserve straight from school and enjoy watching your kids be drenched in colour while you get to catch up with old and new friends from PMPS.

The course will be clearly marked out with smiling faces along the course whose main goal is to douse them in colourful powder to ensure that they look like they have run through a beautiful rainbow by the time they cross the finish line.

Bring a picnic rug, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, white or light coloured t-shirt, sunglasses or goggles and get creative with accessories in your house colours!

There will be a sausage sizzle and soft drinks to purchase.

Tickets are $12 each for students and includes an afternoon snack.

Purchase your tickets via the hub.

Easter Raffle

When: 17 March - 4 April

We will start asking for donations for our Easter Raffle - anything and everything Easter is welcome! Raffle tickets (books of 15) will be sent home 2-3 weeks prior to Easter. Raffle prizes to be dropped to the classrooms on the last day of term.
