Diary Dates and Notices

Hi there, I'm Mrs White, and my role this year is to help secondary students and their families on any matters relating to Gender and Sexuality Diversity (GSD). Boorowa Central School strives to achieve individual excellence for all and develop caring and community-minded students who have the skills to succeed in a changing world. To ensure we achieve this, students must understand more about themselves, their peers, and the wider community both within and outside of Boorowa. It is my goal as the GSD Advisor to help secondary students achieve this understanding in the realm of gender and sexuality diversity, whether it be diversity in themselves, or in the people they interreact with. 

With an ever-changing world at our fingertips through digital media, it is important that our students understand what they see, read, and interact with online. I hope to foster this understanding by sharing relevant and appropriate information with students and discussing any questions they may have. I will be responding to issues of gender identity and sexuality discrimination, and facilitating empathetic actions between students and staff. I aim to make myself available to discuss any concerns had by parents and caregivers so that we can aid in their child's success.

I look forward to a great year ahead with our diverse students at Boorowa Central School.
