Learning News 5/6

Welcome to Years 5/6

We've had a great start to the year and the young people are already engaged in their learning.

In writing we have started our unit on persuasive writing. This is due to NAPLAN being in week 7 of this term and we will cover narrative writing next. On Thursday we had some fierce debate over fast food chains which led to some convincing writing!

In maths we are learning about 3D objects with the students doing some great 3D drawings using shadowing and perspective. 

We've started our learning about the Diverse and Connected World in Geography. We will continue this throughout Semester One of this year.
