Anaphylaxis

At PMPS, we have students with anaphylaxis, so it's important for everyone in our school community to be aware of the signs and symptoms.

Understanding what to do in an emergency can make a big difference—especially if your child is on a play date or at a birthday party with a friend who has an allergic reaction.

Anaphylaxis is a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. Common triggers include foods such as nuts, eggs, dairy, sesame, and seafood, as well as insect stings and certain medications.

All our staff are trained to respond in the event of an anaphylactic emergency. We also review our procedures regularly to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
