Wow, that was a huge Mother’s Day week!!!
Started with wristband distributions for the lunch, the Mother’s Day breakfast, Mother’s Day stall and finally the Mother’s Day lunch. I’m exhausted!
I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge some amazing school and community members.
Mother’s Day breakfast was fantastic with delicious baked goods and yummy coffee. Thank you to Mia Kronborg and Hayley Drinan who sourced all the yumminess and to Eugene, James, Gareth and Joe (and Hoops) who helped man the stall and serve up the delicious food to our wonderful mums (and kids).
Mother’s Day stall was once again a huge hit with the kids. Thank you to Katya Ellis and her team. Katya sourced the items, set up the stall, was there throughout the day while kids shopped up a storm, packed it all down and even tidied the storeroom!!!! You were fantastic and we really appreciate all of your effort and hard work to make that really special.
Now onto the Mother’s Day Lunch thank you’s.
Raffle and lucky dip:
Clea Mason, Bek Cameron and Erin Theodossi worked tremendously hard sourcing & packaging all the amazing raffle and lucky dip prizes, they ran the lucky dip on the day and coordinated the lovely volunteers who helped. You guys are amazing!
Decorations:
Lela McGregor sourced all the amazing flowers/decorations & decked out the venue with help from Viktoria Sovcikova. Lela donated her time and the decor itself to make the event that extra bit special for all of us and it is so appreciated!
Entertainment:
Brooke Fannon was instrumental in mixing things up a bit this year and sourced the 360 Photo Booth and got everyone on the dance floor by securing Jarrad Lees with his DJ and sax vibes. Thank you to Brooke!
We can’t miss the opportunity to thank all the amazing, generous businesses & families who donated to our event and made our Raffle and Lucky Dip so incredible. Please see the below list of all who contributed.
Please check out their websites and social media to support them where you can.
Another thank you goes out to the PMPS Lambis family who generously donated the major prize for the Whole School Raffle, thank you for your ongoing support of our school and the PFA.
Then last but not least thank you to Cheyne Fox from WHITEFOX Real Estate who sponsored the lunch and donated 3 bottles of champagne for the second prize in the whole school raffle. We always appreciate your support.
Congratulations to the winners of the raffle!!!

The second PMPS Winter Solstice Festival will be held on Friday 20th June starting at 5:30pm. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate the winter solstice with a selection of amazing food trucks, Bavarian style drinking hall, lantern walk, kids winter disco, roving performers and some all round fun.
Families can participate in a lantern walk at 5:30pm stemming from Northern European traditions. Children can show their creativity with their hand made lanterns (BYO lanterns) that will be displayed on the soccer nets. After the lantern walk, enjoy the glowing entertainers.
Always a favourite for the kids is the Winter Disco, it will run over 2 sessions for maximum enjoyment. $15 a ticket.
The PFA will have a stall on the night selling a range of glow toys and accessories to add a pop of colour to the disco fun.
Please note guardians are required to stay during the kids disco session.
There will be a selection of food trucks to suit everyone, think hot chips, pizza, sushi, German sausage, paella, soup and much more. Keep warm inside the Bavarian drinking hall located in the gymnasium where you can get some mulled wine, mulled cider, beer, wine and soft drinks.
Don't forget BYO Coffee/Keep Cups.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you all so make sure you buy your tickets.
