Education Support Day!
Today, Friday 16th May
Education Support Day is celebrated each year on May 16th and honours the remarkable contribution that Education Support (ES) staff make to education around the world.

At Essendon North Primary School, our ES are our sensational classroom aides, office, library, grounds, ICT, and newsletter staff. Without doubt, our school would be lost without these dedicated souls and their unwavering commitment, care, support and humour! On behalf of the students and staff at ENPS, Lara and Zadie from 5JM express heartfelt appreciation for our fabulous ES team below.
To start off, we would like to thank the Education Support staff and office team for helping our students and for everything they do for our school. We would like to acknowledge you all for helping us and would like to celebrate the 16th of May to thank you all, for all you do.
Firstly for our Education Support staff, we would like to thank them for helping us whenever we need it. Thank you to Kathryn, Stacey, Karen, Joanna, Jan, Ange, Jess, Eliza, Sam and Cassie for helping our students inside and outside the classrooms, and for organising lunch clubs, being there on yard duty and helping all year levels when we need help.
Now for Joseph and Stuart for always keeping our school clean and Darcy, Teresa, Emma and Nadja for helping us with any of the problems we have in our classrooms, and basically running the school. To Fran for always catching us up on new updates and our incredible newsletters. As well as Jenn for helping us on our technology. To Julie for making reading more interesting and keeping us engaged in reading. And last but not least, Kiera for being our school nurse, helping us when we feel sick or hurt and always thinking about us and making sure we're safe.
We appreciate that you all always put us as your first priority and are always taking care of us. We love that you all support everything that we do and make the school a happier and better place.

Yesterday, we also took time to honour our amazing ES and all that they do with a special staffroom morning tea. Can you feel their joy radiating off the screen? What a team!
