ANZAC DAY

On Wednesday 23rd April, our school leaders conducted an Anzac Day Ceremony. All students and teachers attended the ceremony on our new 'Green' and remained respectfully quiet and focused on our flags throughout. It was impressive to note that all students were able to stay quiet for the minutes silence and that they understood this was a moment to be serious and reflect.

Thanks to Riarn and James for researching and presenting their speech to inform the students about Anzac Day. Thanks to Codet and Spencer for organising the appropriate music and the minutes silence. Thanks to Johnny, Sienna and Hugo for placing the flags at half mast and understanding when to raise them during the ceremony.

Year 6 attended an Anzac Day Service at the Box Hill RSL.  Students were exposed to a variety of inspirational speakers and came away with meaningful reflections on the importance of this day for our country.  Our school captains were then invited to lay a wreath under the memorial.
