Principal's Report

Welcome to Term 2!

Welcome back to Box Hill North Primary School and Kindergarten for Term 2! I hope you all enjoyed your break and had a lovely long weekend with loved ones.

It has been lovely to see students return to school with such happy, well-rested faces, ready to learn!

Our school is looking sensational right now! The fences have finally come down, allowing us all to enjoy the brand new luscious 'Green'!

  • From 5pm-5.30pm we will share INFORMATION with families at each of our Year Levels (Foundation, 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6)
  • From 5.30pm-6.30pm, we will open up our classrooms to share Reading, Maths and Inquiry learning experiences with our families.
  • School Tours will also be available for prospective families from 5.30pm-6.30pm. Tell your friends to book by contacting the office!

We look forward to welcoming many families into our school!

This term, I will be completing many School Tours - some with the help of our student leaders - so please let your friends and family know to book a tour if they live in the area and are in need of a school for 2025 or 2026! I would love to show them around this wonderful school.

Student-Free Days

A reminder that Thursday (today) is a student-free day and Friday is Anzac Day, so we look forward to seeing students back on Monday!

Hats! Hats! Hats!

In accordance with SunSmart guidance, students are required to wear hats when outside from August 1st until April 30th, so students will continue to wear hats until Wednesday 30th April.

ANZAC Day – A Time to Remember

ANZAC Day, observed on April 25th each year, is a special time for Australians and New Zealanders to remember and honour the brave soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served during World War I and in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions since.

At school, we take this opportunity to reflect on the values the ANZACs showed—like courage, mateship, and perseverance. Through stories, ceremonies, and moments of silence, we help our students understand the importance of remembering those who have served and those who continue to serve our country today.
