From the Director of Junior School

Mrs Melissa Thirgood

Dear Junior School Families,

We're delighted to welcome you all back for the start of Term 2! We hope the holidays provided your family with a chance to rest, recharge and enjoy time together. Now, with fresh energy and enthusiasm, we look forward to another exciting term of learning, discovery and growth.

This term promises to be full of wonderful opportunities for our students – from engaging classroom learning to excursions, assemblies and seasonal events. Our dedicated teachers have been busy preparing enriching lessons that build on the strong foundations of Term 1 while encouraging curiosity, creativity and confidence.

As always, strong partnerships between home and school are key to a successful term. We encourage families to stay connected through regular updates on Connect, the College's social media accounts and our Fountain newsletter, and to reach out with any questions or support needs.

Let's work together to make Term 2 a joyful and productive time for every child.

We congratulate the following students for receiving certificates and pins for our 4R's in Week 10 of last term and over the last two weeks of Term 2:

Easter reflection and celebration

In Week 10 of Term 1, our Junior School classes reflected on the Easter story, which carries a message of hope, renewaland new life. In our classrooms, we explored the themes of kindness, compassion and the importance of helping others – values that lie at the heart of the Easter story. Easter is also a time of celebration, filled with joyful traditions, colourful eggs and time with loved ones. Our students, through prayer, reflection and craft, showed their understanding of this important time in our lives. See our week reflected in the images below.
