First Aid Update

As we prepare for the Winter months, we must ensure the health and safety of students with medical needs, particularly those with allergies, asthma, and anaphylaxis.
Despite several reminders, we still are missing documents and medications for several children with allergies, asthma and anaphylaxis.
Please ensure that your child has the necessary medication at school. This medication should be placed in a suitable bag and clearly labelled with your child's name, class, and the specific times or circumstances under which it should be administered.
If medication is to be administered by the school, we will require the following:
A relevant and up-to-date ASCIA management plan (for anaphylaxis, allergy or asthma) specifying medication and dosage AND
A letter from the general practitioner or specialist specifying medication and dosage
A completed Medication Authority Form by a registered medical practitioner.
Your cooperation in these matters is vital to maintaining a secure environment for our students, ensuring we can respond promptly and effectively in an emergency. We appreciate your attention and timely action regarding these requirements.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our school office.
