Junior Class

This week, the Junior students have been preparing for their upcoming Music and Movement excursion to the Dulwich Community Centre. They practiced how to transition to the venue either by bus or strollers. It was a joy to witness their excitement during our first community outing of the year!

Purple Class

The Purple class has been exploring non-standard units of measurement in a fun and hands-on way. We began by measuring our height in centimetres; a standard unit, and then compared it using a variety of non-standard units such as leaves, popsicle sticks, blocks, and glue sticks. To extend our learning, we created life-size height posters, which are now proudly displayed on the wall outside our classroom. This activity helped us practise using comparison language such as taller than, shorter than, the tallest, and the shortest.
