To Our School Community,
Welcome Back to Term 2!
We hope that the Easter break was a time of rest and renewal for you and your families. It’s been a joy to see our students return with such positivity and energy, ready for another term of learning and growth.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all families who have taken the time to complete our Strategic Plan survey. Your insights and reflections are invaluable as we shape the future direction of Catholic Special Schools. We’re also pleased to share that our first day back was filled with rich learning and collaboration, as our staff came together for a day of professional development. Several of our own staff led sessions for their colleagues, showcasing not only their deep knowledge and experience but also the spirit of generosity and continuous improvement that defines our community. Their leadership and professionalism are a true reflection of the culture we are building together.
Finally, I’d like to inform you that I will be taking Long Service Leave from Thursday 22nd of May until the Monday the 9th of June. During this time, Cathy Sires will be Acting Principal of Catholic Special Schools. I thank Cathy for taking on this role in my absence.
Thank you again for your ongoing support of our school community. I look forward to seeing the wonderful things this term will bring.
Warm regards,
Shannon Correll
