PINC Parent Edition
Never Have I Ever…
Bribed my child to do their homework (or go to school, or get dressed—you get the idea).
Sat in a parent-teacher interview thinking, “Oh no, what now?”
Made an unrealistic threat, simply out of frustration.
If you answered yes to any of these, then we GUARANTEE our next PINC event is for you.
Let’s be honest—parenting is tough. There’s the constant second-guessing of every choice (and if you don’t do it, society will gladly do it for you). There’s the frustration with your child’s latest phase—only to grieve its sudden end. There’s the loss of freedom, money, and time (remember weekends that were your own?), and the creeping feeling that you’re getting it all wrong.
But amidst it all, there’s something powerful: community. Knowing you’re not alone brings connection, validation, and a shared sense of identity. Parenthood becomes a rite of passage—but one filled with unexpected challenges and competing demands. That’s why events like this matter.
Join us on Thursday, May 22nd at 6pm for a special parenting session:“Strength and Connection: Navigating Big Feelings, Together.”
Our speaker, Yvonne Kilpatrick, Psychologist and Clinical Director at Amherst Psychology, will share practical strategies for supporting children through intense emotions, as well as tools for self-regulation during challenging parenting moments. Her insights will focus on strengthening family relationships and building emotional resilience.
This is a warm and welcoming event for all parents in our Trinity community.
