Kitchen Garden

All the students are a buzz with our new chicks being warmed and cared for at the Prezybycien household. We have some lovely families ready to help look after our chickens when they join us at school. Letting them in and out each day, weekend and holiday care.

If you would like to join them just email me and I will pass on your details kirsty.edwards@education.vic.gov.au

Our chicken coop is nearly ready and we have planted some tea trees and lavender plants that will help keep mosquitos at bay and create a calm/shady environment for the chickens.

Our plants are growing well at the moment even with the rain being non-existent. The children are starting to harvest produce as we cook. This week we have used some spinach and radishes.

All year levels will have a chance to come and say hello and are always welcome into the garden with their teacher.

If you would like to join our cooking sessions our sign up app is the easiest way to let us know if you would like to come in and have fun cooking with us, the details are below:
