COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Pierce S (5ND) and Perry S (2TS) who represented Metro North at the recent Victorian Metro Junior Swimming Competition at MSAC.
Both boys achieved outstanding results:
Pierce placed in the top 3 in the state for the U10 50m Breaststroke.
Perry placed in the top 10 in the state for the U8 50m Butterfly.
Well done 💪🏼
What an incredible experience Presley A (2RB) had over the weekend at the Carlton game!
He met some of the players, watched them run out from the race, and even got to be in the rooms post-game when they sang the team song.
How good is that! 💪🏼
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.

CAMPS, SPORTS, EXCURSION FUND (CSEF)
School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are a part of a healthy curriculum. CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
The annual CSEF amount per primary school student is $154.
If you received CSEF in 2024 you do not need to apply again, however if you are new to Greenhills and have a valid concession card or have an additional child (eg Prep) that commenced, please complete the attached form (available from the office too) and hand into the office with a copy of your concession card. Any queries please don’t hesitate to contact the office. Applications close 4th July 2025. Here is the link to complete the form :
