Reports

From this term, families will see a new format for school reports. These changes have been introduced by the NSW Department of Education for all public schools to make reports clearer and more helpful for parents and carers.

Reports will continue to show your child’s progress in all key learning areas. Teacher comments will now appear in English, Mathematics, and the general comment section, in line with department policy. Kindergarten reports also include information on Creative Arts, HSIE, PDHPE, and Science and Technology.

You’ll notice a revised achievement scale and updated descriptions that aim to give a more accurate picture of your child’s learning and development.

We’ll provide more detail about these changes and how the reports will look at our upcoming P&C meeting.

Cross country

A big thank you to our wonderful staff for their fantastic organisation of the school cross country, especially after needing to reschedule it twice due to the weather. Your flexibility and teamwork made sure the day ran smoothly and our students had a great experience. Best of luck to all our competitors heading to the Zone Cross Country next Tuesday, we’ll be cheering you on!

Late arrivals and early departure - parent/carer requirements

If your child requires a late note, a parent or guardian must accompany the child to the student counter and sign them in. A parent or guardian must also sign out their child when leaving early, this aligns with Department of Education requirements .

Celebrating Chris – Pride of Workmanship Award Winner

We are delighted to share that Chris has been awarded a Pride of Workmanship Award by Chatswood Rotary, following a nomination from our school. This award recognises individuals who take great pride in their work and consistently go above and beyond and Chris is a perfect example.

Chris leads our school garden and the popular Green Thumb Club with incredible passion and care. Her work creates a vibrant, welcoming space where students feel connected to nature, learn responsibility, and experience the joy of growing something from the ground up.

I love standing with Chris and being able to promote healthy eating to our community. Thanks for all that you do Chris!
