WELCOME TO THE KITCHEN AND GARDEN PROGRAM FOR 2025!

We are super excited to welcome our students back into the kitchen and garden this year. 

We are also excited to introduce Georgie McIntosh who has join our kitchen team. Many of you would already know Georgie as a Surfside parent and also as cookie extraordinaire 'The Little Things by George'. We cant wait for her to start sharing her talents and skills with our students. You will find Georgie in the kitchen on a Tuesday so swing by and say G'day!

We start out 2025 with our year 4 and 6 students. Year 4 will have kitchen on a Tuesday and Year 6 on a Wednesday. Garden classes are mostly on a Thursday however, M19 (Ms Smiths Class) will have then garden session on a Tuesday. Below is the timetable for your reference. If you have any time to come and volunteer in either the kitchen or garden, please email Clancey with your availability   clancey.mckenzie2@education.vic.gov.au

 Each fortnight we will endeavor to share you heaps of great action shots of your children and we will also share our recipes so that you can make them at home.

SURFSIDE SNACK SHACK

Our Snack Shackers will be back, hard at work in the canteen, whipping up some delicious treats commencing week 3. If you are interested in helping with this program then please let us know. We would love to get a Parent Support team up and running for 2025.

Garden Mission Makeover

A MASSIVE thank you to our amazing team of volunteers who came along yesterday to help us get the garden all ready for our students to plant the remainder of our summer and Autumn crops. I hope you all know how valuable your help was and the garden looks fabulous!!
