Numeracy Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome back to our Numeracy Challenge.

At Viewbank College, we understand that Numeracy is important for all individuals to develop logical thinking and reasoning strategies in their everyday activities. Therefore, our Mathematics learning is designed around sharpening Numeracy skills and dispositions and there are evident connections in other domains as well.

This challenge was started in 2024 to engage our students, staff and wider community with Numeracy ideas and understanding of the power of mathematics and the joy of mathematical problem solving.

I will continue to send these challenges with every newsletter. The students will get a house point and their names will be published along with their solutions in the next challenge.
