UAC Applications Opening Soon!
UAC applications for university courses starting in 2026 will open on 2 April 2025. Now is the perfect time for students to create their UAC accounts and begin adding their course preferences. At our upcoming careers stall during the Subject Selection Evening on Tuesday, 20 May 2025 (Term 2, Week 4), we’ll be helping students set up their accounts. Students can enter their preferred courses when setting up, and once the UAC application period opens, they can officially submit their applications. This will streamline the process for students applying for multiple universities, including those considering early entry programs. Don't miss the chance to get ahead and set up your account early!
VET at Evans High School
Evans High School currently offers two VET (Vocational Education and Training) courses: Entertainment and Hospitality. These students are working towards achieving either a Certificate of Attainment or a Certificate of Achievement in their respective subjects.
Our Hospitality students have been actively involved in hands-on learning, completing in-school work placements. They have contributed by catering at school events, including making coffees for staff and parents on Open Night, catering for the Principal's Network Meeting, preparing meals for the Primary School End-of-Term Awards Lunch, providing lunch for staff at the Cross Country Carnival, and running Evans Café every Wednesday morning, where they serve a variety of coffees and warm beverages.
Our Entertainment students have successfully completed their White Card training, which is essential for working safely in construction-related environments, including event setup and production roles. Many of these students will also gain valuable industry experience by completing their work placement at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
