Bike Education

The Bike Ed program is a program that gives children the opportunity to learn about safe riding behaviours, road rules and riding in a shared environment. Bike Ed uses practical lessons to ensure riders have the physical abilities to ride safely and older students to ride independently.

This week at St Michael's our year five and six students rolled their bikes into the school on Monday morning for a week filled with Bike Education.

Students took part in theory lessons about road rules and safety and then practical sessions, where they were taught how to "give way," "Stop," at a stop sign and be aware of road rules.

On Friday, the students will take part in the "Big Ride." They are all looking forward to riding together and putting their knowledge into practice!
