Salvos Christmas Appeal – Help Us Make a Difference!
Our school is proudly partnering with the Salvation Army this holiday season to collect non-perishable food items, toys, and gifts for all ages. Starting now through to Friday, 13th December, we invite our school community to bring in donations and drop them off under the special Christmas tree in TLC will to be set up with paper decorations recognizing our generous donors.
Let’s work together to spread joy this season! Thank you for your kindness and support!
Year 9 German Students Explore Germany Through Virtual Reality
Our Year 9 German students recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in a virtual reality workshop hosted by the Goethe-Institute Melbourne. In this incursion students used Oculus Quest VR headsets and the innovative Wander app and they embarked on a virtual journey through Germany, choosing the cities and places they most wanted to visit.
Alongside their virtual exploration, students engaged in hands-on tasks, such as putting together a map of Germany, labelling its states and major cities. This allowed them to deepen their understanding of the country's geography while honing their collaboration skills.
The workshop not only sparked a deeper interest in German culture, nature, and geography, but also helped students develop valuable digital skills. The students were thrilled with the experience! It was a fantastic way to bring the German language and culture to life, blending adventure, learning, and teamwork in an unforgettable way.

Electronic device use at Brentwood Canteen
We would like to thank you for your continued support with the Personal Mobile Devices Policy. We have noticed students trying to utilise their phones as a payment method at the canteen and ask that families look to make other arrangements.
Mobile phones are not to be used at the canteen as they are not allowed to be in use between the school hours of 8.45am and 3.05pm.
Students can make payment via an EFTPOS card or cash.
Thank you for your cooperation.
