Principals Report
Dear parents and Carers
I am filled with mixed emotions as I write this final newsletter. On the one hand, I feel a deep sense of accomplishment and pride for the incredible journey we’ve shared over the past eight years. On the other hand, there is sadness, knowing that this chapter of my life at Sacred Heart is coming to a close.
When I first arrived at Sacred Heart, I never could have imagined the incredible blessings I would receive in being part of this wonderful school. The warmth, support, and kindness I’ve experienced here have been amazing. It has been a pleasure to work alongside such dedicated teachers and be a part of the lives of so many great students.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the Sacred Heart Community, and for all the friendships and memories we’ve created together. Sacred Heart will always hold a special place in my heart.
As we approach the end of the year and bid farewell to the families who are departing, I would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for their contributions to our community. We hope that your time at Sacred Heart will always be remembered fondly. Additionally, we would like to extend our best wishes to our departing staff members, Nada Nolen, Lois Stiles, and Deputy Principal Ben Griffin. They have been invaluable members of the Sacred Heart community, and we are grateful for their dedicated service. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
I am pleased to welcome Mr. Jarrod Mullavey, our new principal. I had the opportunity to spend time with him last Friday, and he is very enthusiastic about joining us. I know that with Mr. Mullavey and Ms. Bec Bridgeman at the helm, our school is in very capable hands.
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a fabulous 2025.
Have a great week
Arn
