Principals Message
Thank you to all members of the Narrandera High School community for their support in 2024. We have had many highlights which culminated with our annual Presentation Night last week. Thank you to Mr Jack Langely for being our guest of honour and for his wonderful speech.
The major award winners were:
- Madeline Fraser - NHS Perseverando Award Outstanding Perseverance Across the Curriculum and Minister’s Award Commendation.
- Harvey Odgers – All Rounder Award
- Xavier Beauchamp – The Ruben F Scarf Award and NHS Clontarf Academy Overall Achievement Award
- Macey Vearing - Narrandera Soroptimist / Heather Bell Memorial Award for Citizenship
- Camillo Gonzales Monardes - Rex Poole Award for Dux of the School 2023
- Abbey Lawless - Rex Poole Award for best result by a Female Student in the 2023 HSC
- Bellah Longford – Sports Person of the Year
- Georgie Hall – First in Year 7
- Ethan Hoffman – First in Year 8
- Jessica Wright – First in Year 9
- Hannah Beer – First in Year 10
- Mrs Judy Ing – Directors Award for dedication to Narrandera High School
- Mr Mark Chappell - Directors Award for dedication to Narrandera High School
- Linda McGilvray - Directors Award for dedication to Narrandera High School
- Tahlia Gilbert - The Michael Galluzzo Memorial Year 12 Award
- Jaida-Lee Lyons - The Michael Galluzzo Memorial Year 12 Award
Congratulations to these and all award winners on the night. The evening was a celebration of students dedication to their education, sport, community and school service. Thank you to all our sponsors of Presentation Night for their support of the students at Narrandera High School.
I wish all students, families and staff a happy and safe holiday. We look forward to seeing all students return on Thursday February 6 for a great 2025. Please note that all students (Years 7 to 12) return on the same day.
