2XU Wellness Run

On Sunday 1st of December, some of the NLPS staff took part in the 2XU Wellness 10km Run, a fundraising event for Beyond Blue.

Did you know that over 3 million people in Australia experience depression or anxiety? As Australia’s most well-known and visited mental health organisation, Beyond Blue has worked with the community for over 20 years to improve mental health and prevent suicide, so that all people in Australia can achieve their best possible mental health.

Every dollar raised for the run will help to fund Beyond Blue’s 24/7 Support Service which gives every person in Australia the opportunity to talk through their concerns with a trained mental health professional via phone, webchat or email.

People who access the service can receive a brief one-on-one counselling session to address an immediate concern, as well as receive information and advice on continuing to seek support.

Trugo Place Visits

On Tuesday, 15th October a group of Year 5/6 boys from the Cool Guys program with Sam visited Trugo Place, an aged care home. We brightened their day by helping them play bingo and sharing stories. I also had the chance to play a resident’s very special grand piano. I can’t wait to do more with the Cool Guys program!

Important Changes to how NLPS Collects Student Charges

Student charges for the upcoming year have been posted on Compass. They will need to be paid in full by 30 January 2025. Alternatively, for families who prefer a split payment option, you may choose to pay in two instalments: the first instalment is due by 30 January 2025, and the second instalment must be paid by 30 April 2025.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the new payment schedule, please do not hesitate to contact the school's Business Manager via email or via the  office.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support in providing the best educational experience for our students.
