The BNPS Team
Beaumaris North Primary School Staff
My sincere thanks to every member of our school staff for their ongoing commitment to every aspect of the education of our students throughout the year.
Leadership Team
Our school is led by a team of staff, not one individual. I would like to sincerely thank Tania Maxwell and Angus Ross for supporting me with every aspect of the Principal’s role and responsibilities.
I would also like to thank the members of our School Improvement Team (SIT). Each member of our SIT has a specific whole school portfolio as well as monitoring and developing our School Strategic Plan and the Annual Implementation Plan. Georgie Keyes-Tilley, Naomi Holt, Sheridan Duffy-Fainu’u, Lauren Lowers, Tania Maxwell, and Angus Ross are members of our SIT.
Teaching Team
I would like to sincerely thank our professional and dedicated teaching team. The role and responsibility of a teacher has changed greatly in recent years. No longer is the teacher responsible for providing a rich curriculum for each child, but the role now encompasses the area of Student Welfare ensuring that each student’s wellbeing is of paramount importance.
I would like to thank our team for continually developing their knowledge and skills ensuring that their personal development is ongoing and based on the most current research available.
Administrative Team
The first people you meet when you visit our school is our administrative team.
I would like to thank Nicola Hajncl, Nicole Rainsbury, Annie Staley and Kerryn Meredith who have manned our office throughout the year in a professional, efficient, and welcoming manner at all times. Your happy, cheerful manner is respected and admired by us all.
Educational Support Team
Our Educational Support Team, including Teacher Assistants, Canteen Manager, Facilities Manager and Maintenance Staff, Outside School Hours Care and Uniform Shop Manager, have done an amazing job throughout the year. I would like to sincerely thank every member of our ES team for contributing so positively, ensuring that our students and their families have the best school.
Our Casual Relief Teachers (CRT’s)
I would like to thank Anna Holmes, Kate Boston, Deb Ball, and Maridia Astarlis who have been our regular casual relief staff. These ladies are multi-skilled and multi-talented, as they have been willing to teach any year level or specialist program.
Canteen and Uniform Shop
What is special about both of these shops?
Both Jenny Marashli and Annie Thomas have had their children attend BNPS and when their children moved on from primary school, they wanted to stay connected to our community. As a result, they continue to manage and run our canteen and uniform shop. We are so lucky to have parents and ex-parents like Jenny and Annie, who are willing to share their corporate knowledge and skills in our School Council run uniform and canteen shops.
I would like to sincerely thank both ladies for their ongoing commitment in managing these vital aspects of our school.
I would also like to thank Ben Miskin who volunteers on a weekly basis, I do not know what we will do when his nephew leaves the school.
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
Kelly Szabo has led our Outside School Hours Care Program throughout the school year. Kelly and her team not only care for the students attending OSHC but plan their program in line with the Units of Inquiry being studied in our classrooms.
Congratulations to Kelly and her team who completed their accreditation this year and achieved the highest rating in every standard. If your child attends our OSHC program you can be assured they are in the best care with an exemplary program meeting all standards and proficiencies.
To the whole team at Beaumaris North Primary School, thank you for who you are, what you have done, and for demonstrating what an amazing professional, caring and dedicated team of staff we have.
