Principal's Message
Dear Holy Family Parents and Carers,
Reflecting on the Graduation Mass and High Tea
Last Friday, we had the privilege of celebrating our Year 6 Graduation Mass and High Tea, a truly wonderful occasion that marked a significant milestone for our graduating students. It was a beautiful celebration of their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout their time at Holy Family.
The Graduation Mass provided a meaningful moment for reflection, where we came together as a community to offer our prayers and blessings for the students as they embark on the next chapter of their journey. It was a time to acknowledge not only their academic accomplishments but also the growth they’ve experienced as individuals—spiritually, socially, and personally.
Following the Mass, the High Tea was a lovely gathering that allowed us to continue the celebration, enjoying each other’s company and reminiscing on the memories made throughout the years. It was a heartwarming way to honour our students and celebrate all they have achieved.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make these events so special. A special thanks to Father Colin, Mrs Overton, Mr Clarke and the Year 6 class parents, Myrthe Brugmans and Ella Walter. Your support and involvement made this celebration one to remember, and we are so grateful for the sense of community that was present throughout the day. We wish all our Year 6 students the very best for the future. May they continue to thrive and reach for new heights, carrying with them the values and lessons learned here at Holy Family.

Congratulations to Lauryn Wu, who has been selected to represent Broken Bay for 2025 in the Broken Bay Girls Tennis Competition. Lauryn will travel to Tamworth next February to compete. We wish Lauryn all the very best as she prepares for the upcoming tennis championships.
Staffing Update
I am pleased to announce that after a thorough recruitment process, we will be welcoming Mrs. Belinda O'Shannessy as our new School Office Support. Belinda will be taking on this important role at Holy Family, and we are excited to have her join our team. Belinda will join Mrs Anthea Thomas in the office on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
With her skills, experience, and positive attitude, we are confident that Belinda will make a valuable contribution to our school community. We look forward to the great work she will do as part of our team, supporting both staff and students in this key administrative role. We are thrilled to have her with us and look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly have in our school.
