Dear God,
As we anticipate the celebration of the birth of Your Son, Jesus,
we thank You for the many blessings we have received this year.
During this holy season, may our hearts be filled with the joy, peace, and love that Christmas brings.
We pray for our school community, our families, and all those in need.
May Your light shine brightly in our lives and guide us to share kindness, hope, and compassion with others.
Bless our homes, our school, and the world as we celebrate the gift of Christ. May His love inspire us to bring joy and peace to all those we meet.
Amen.
We gathered as a school community last week to celebrate Advent in our St Patrick's Church. The students K-6 made Advent creations to decorate in preparation for the Christmas season. Thank you Sister Kathryn for leading the beautiful liturgy celebrated.
We congratulate Mrs Aly Kellow, Miss Melissa Buckland, Mr Luke Paterson and Miss Phoebe O'Shea who recently completed the Cornerstones program through the Australian Institute of Theological Education. These graduates have gained further accreditation to teach RE. Well done on your efforts studying over the past two years!
Thank you to the families who have already generously donated to our St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal. The last day for items to be sent into school is tomorrow, Tuesday 17th December. We appreciate your donations at what can be a challenging time for all.
Congratulations to Year 6 on their graduation last Friday. Thank you to Fr Deleep, Sister Kathryn, Mr Paterson, Mrs Wallace, Mrs Lockwood and Miss O'Shea for making the Mass and celebration so special.
As we approach the festive season, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our students, families, and staff for their continued support and dedication throughout the year.
2024 has been a wonderful year, filled with joy, learning, and community spirit.
A special thank you goes to Fr Anthony, Fr Sabu, and Sister Kathryn for their unwavering support and guidance in helping our school grow in faith and love. Your presence and care have truly made a difference in our school community.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. May this season bring you peace, joy, and precious moments with your loved ones. We look forward to another exciting year of growth and faith in 2025!
