'Small Steps, Big Results'

We are thrilled to announce that Vinshika Sivakumar has won the Mary MacKillop Award for Courage in Life. This prestigious award is given to a young person connected to MacKillop who has demonstrated outstanding endeavour and resilience. Vinny was selected from a strong group of nominees and received the award during Week 8.

In the photo below, Vinny is pictured with Margaret Proudfoot, Sarah Ryan, MacKillop General Manager, who presented the award, and Bronte Crouch, Coordinator of Home-Based Care Southern. Congratulations, Vinny, on this well-deserved recognition!

Thank you to our year 11 student team for volunteering their time to design the Year 12 Jackets for 2025. We are excited to empower our students by giving them the opportunity to vote for their favourite design. Each homegroup will be assigned a lunchtime slot to try on a sample jacket for sizing. Please ensure you attend your assigned time to help us get accurate measurements.

We wish all students partaking a year 12 subject the best of luck during their trial exams over the break. Students should be proud of the work they have put in to complete all Unit 3 and 4 coursework.

Year 11 students who are completing a year 12 subject should have received an A4 notice regarding their exam schedule from one of our leaders. If you have not yet received this notice, please visit the Senior School Office to collect one. Below are some important dates relevant for all Berwick College students.

  • Last Day of Term 3: Early finish at 2:30 pm

  • First Day of Term 4: Monday, 6 October

From all of us in the Year 11 Team, we wish you a restful and safe holiday. We look forward to supporting our students as they finalise their studies and prepare for year 12 in Term 4.
