Thank you to all our year 9 students for yet again another amazing term filled with growth, effort and positivity. We can’t wait to finish off the year strong and celebrate all your achievements together in Term 4!

Celebration Evening

A reminder to all students to continue collecting your work that will be celebrated next term in our Celebration Evening.

Reminder about ID cards to access toilets

A reminder to all parents and students that in Term 4 students will be required to have their ID cards to access the toilets. Cards can be purchased from Compass if students have misplaced their card provided at the beginning of the year.

 

Wordle Wednesday Winner

Congratulations to 9G who were crowned our Wordle Wednesday Winners for this term! Their efforts did not go unnoticed, and they will be rewarded with a pancake breakfast or sausage sizzle upon their return to school after the holidays. 

 

Champions Cup 

We extend our best wishes to our year 9 students that will be representing Berwick in the Basketball Victoria Champions Cup Grand Final on the 21st of September. This is an amazing achievement that reflects the dedication and teamwork of our students throughout the year. Go Berwick, bring home the cup!

Last Day of Term 

A reminder to all families that the last day of Term 3 is Friday, 19th of September, with students finishing at 2:30pm. We thank all students and families for their hard work, involvement, and support throughout the term. We wish everyone a safe and restful break. Classes will resume for Term 4 on Monday, 6th of October. We look forward to an exciting final term of the year.

City Experience 

In Term 4, our year 9 students will take part in the much-anticipated City Experience. This is designed to reflect on and celebrate an incredible year of learning and growth from our Year 9 students whilst engaging with the wider Melbourne community. City Experience will allow for students to immerse themselves in a range of activities around the city. In Week 9 of Term 3, students will be able to sign up for their preferred activity, which will run on one of the days. Activities include visits to the IMAX Theatre, the Melbourne Skydeck, and the Melbourne Museum. Further details, including activity schedules and transport information will be communicated to parents in the coming weeks.

Borrowing of sporting equipment at break times (Year level offices)

From now on, borrowing sports equipment (such as balls, bats, etc.) will no longer occur at the PE Office or Foyer. Year 9s can visit C1s to borrow equipment. We have just received new sports equipment including new soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, four square balls, tennis balls and cricket equipment. Please come to C1s to borrow our new equipment.
