Garden Club

Mr Jorgen Choong

Catalogue Issue

Welcome to our first catalogue issue of the Garden Shop. All our items are 100% recycled, re-used and re-purposed. This means items bought from our shop can be returned for recycling, re-used or re-purposed into our Garden Club.

We have started this to support Garden Club so they can acquire new equipmentand to let primary stage children a chance to develop their entrepreneurial skills. I hope you can pop by and see what we have on offer.

Garden Shop will be held in Term 4 week 3 (Wednesday 29 Oct) after school. All our plants and seeds are ideal for the beginner Gardener. 90% of items sold in Garden Shop will not be over $3.00.

Paper Planter Box

We have used scrap copier paper to make our planter box. These are ideal forseeds that only require two to three weeks to germinate. Since paper is “bio-compatible”, the seedling and the paper planter box can be buried directly into the soil or larger pot.

When is Garden Club?

Garden Club happens on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, right after the gates open. We meet at the bubblers on the Churchill Avenue side of the school. Garden Club is completely FREE to join! It is a great opportunity to learn to be a lateral thinker with limited resources, get first pick after a harvest, and see some fascinating creatures.
