Group 5

We’re so happy with the progress Group 5 has made since we started teaching! This term has been very busy; we have started breakfast club where the students are practising their independence skills in making a fruit salad and choosing which fruit they like best. We have been lucky to attend many incursions, last week ‘Dr Nincompoop’ visited us with his puppets and fun Nursery Rhymes, the kids had a ball during this incursion! Our focus this term has been on building connections with each other. Group 5 has done an amazing job at showing these skills through cooking, science and our daily rotations. During science this term our students have been busy making playdough and investigating which objects sink and which float.

We have also been focusing on our term theme ‘Transport’, We explored different types of transport and how to stay safe while using them. As a group we have created many beautiful transport inspired art pieces using paint and dot markers. We have even explored some fun and engaging car themed maths games. It has been an incredible term full of creativity, learning and fun! Good work Group 5!

We wish you a fun and safe holidays,

Bre, Dev and Georgia.
