Group  4

Term 3 has sure flown by! And it’s evident how much progress everyone is making throughout the year. From increased engagement, social interactions, communication and especially the excitement of being in school. We also welcomed Vanessa, our new ES into Group 4!

It’s been an eventful term as we celebrated Book week and Science week. We’ve enjoyed some shared readings, making stories, and dressing up for Book week. As for Science week, we experienced various science experiments. We also enjoyed three incursions including the discovery science dome, Dr. Nincompoop and a wildlife incursion. 

The theme for Term 3 is ‘transports’ so Group 4 has been learning about different modes of transportation. And most importantly, we have been exploring road safety practices. We have focused on walking on the foot path while holding hands, practising to stop, look, and listen when crossing the roads. We learned this through multiple means such as role-playing using props, reading books, listening to songs and craft.
