Group 8

Throughout term 3, students in group 8 have enjoyed engaging with a variety of science learning activities and events. For Science Week, all students participated in experiments as a group, such as making ‘clouds’ in a jar using shaving cream and filling balloons with the gas created by combining baking soda and vinegar. Students also enjoyed experiencing our wildlife incursion and had the opportunity to get up close with animals such as a wombat, a baby crocodile a possum and a snake! The class also looked forward to meeting our new school pet, Patrick the rabbit. Additionally, students had a great time experiencing the Planetarium Dome incursion where they were able to see stars and planets projected under a giant tent. Term 3 has been filled with exciting activities, and we look forward to more fun and learning with students in group 8 next term!
