I loved doing the Musical Theatre workshop. We learnt about the 2 different types of voices that you can access in Musical Theatre. It was awesome to work with Courtney who has lots of experience in this area! She is so talented and allowed us the freedom to use our own creativity and choreograph the dances to our chosen songs which was really fun. – Bonnie 6T

It was really helpful when we got to learn how to change a tyre and all about how engines work in the Auto Mechanics workshops. Leith was funny, engaging and knowledgeable. He didn’t do the work for us but he encouraged us all to give it a go ourselves which helped us all learn really effectively. I loved it! - Charlie L 6T

In the video production workshop, I love that Adam let us all feel comfortable and have a go in an area of our choice. It was cool seeing how editing is actually done and we all felt super proud of the finished product that we created. It was a very special experience and I know that I could always work in the Sports industry in videography if I don’t get to play for Collingwood! - Lachy 6T

Photography was a really cool workshop – we got to plan, take and edit photos and I couldn’t believe how well they turned out. It was awesome that we were given responsibility to use the equipment ourselves and the freedom to take photos around the school of what we wanted. It was a great opportunity that we wouldn’t have had otherwise, if it wasn’t for the Endeavour program. - Bailey and Hubby 6B

In the electrical circuits workshops with Nicole it was really cool to learn about all of the different electrical components and we even got to light up LED lights ourselves. I also really enjoyed making the electric cars and working fans in the final session as it was great to see our learning come to life in actual products. I have always loved learning with my hands so choosing the engineering and auto mechanics workshops was easy for me. I absolutely loved it. It made learning relevant and it was so fun being able to learn from experts in each area. I can’t wait to do workshops again. - Harvey 5T

Zack : We thought we’d leave you with one final reminder of just how epic our school really is… not that you need convincing! But just in case there was any doubt in your mind, a group of creative, energetic and slightly chaotic Year 5 and 6 boys teamed up during the Video Production workshop – run by the amazing Adam and Fiona Goldfinch – to create something really special.

Lachy :Their mission? To make the most awesome, most legendary MEPS promo video the world has ever seen! (Okay, maybe we’re exaggerating a tiny bit...!) With cameras in hand, they planned, filmed and edited their thoughts to capture what makes MEPS such a great school.
