Assistant Principal Update

At assembly this term we have kept the focus on student learning and achievements in order to regularly celebrate the accomplishments of our student community. It has been amazing to focus on so many different examples of student voice and agency and recognizing how our students show the Mt Eliza Primary School values and kindness to each other. Each award given for actions related to respect, responsibility, resilience, connectedness, challenge and kindness serves as an example to everyone that being a leader is an action, not a position, and that each individual is capable of making a positive difference to others in the world around them as well as themselves. Some of the recent award winners we have been able to acknowledge and celebrate over the past few assemblies have included:

Well done to each and every person listed. Keep up the efforts to make our school a better place and do your best! Congratulations as well to our Academic Achievement and Learning Endeavour award winners who will be awarded on our last day of term assembly. Your dedication to improving your performance and putting in a consistent effort is truly an example for all of us to follow as we work to be lifelong learners and always get better.
