Data Collection and Representation
In Grade 1/2, students have been exploring how to collect, organise, and represent data. They have enjoyed running class surveys to gather information and then displaying their findings using tally marks and bar graphs. Through these activities, students are learning to make sense of information in the world around them while building important skills in problem solving, critical thinking, and communication.

Information Texts
Students have continued learning about information texts. They have been researching an animal of their choice, collecting key facts, and drafting their writing to include subheadings. Students are learning how to organise their ideas clearly and present information in an engaging way for their readers.
