Father’s Day Treat & Stall – Thank You!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Father’s Day Coffee & Treat Morning on Friday 5 September. It was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout! Special thanks to the PFC team and all the helpers who organised the coffee van and served up the delicious breakfast treats.

Congratulations to our Father’s Day Raffle winners:  Noah Choi, Andrew Amoroso, Laura Mollison and Md Saeed Hasan.

The children also had a wonderful time at the Father’s Day Stall during the day on Friday 5 September. Thanks to your support, we raised $1,130! Thanks to all the helpers on the day! A huge thank you to Liyen for organising the stall, and to Shweta for managing the counting on the day.

And a very special thanks to Kristi Lloyd for braving the chilly morning with her camera! Even with cold fingers she managed to capture some fantastic pics!

These events are such a highlight for our school community, and they simply wouldn’t happen without your support. We’d love for more families to get involved with the PFC, it’s fun, rewarding, and a great way to be part of school life.

Come join us!

Thanks,

Secondhand Uniform & Lost Property

The second donation day for Term 3 was held today, Friday 12 September, from 3pm to 3.30pm at the Stadium. Thanks to everyone who donated items of uniform you no longer require in preparation for the Term 4 sale early next term.

We also emptied the very full lost property boxes, and have commenced sorting. All named items will be returned to students next week. Unnamed items have been returned to the boxes for collection by the end of term next Friday, 19 September (see photos below). Any unclaimed items may be sold at the Term 4 sale or disposed. A reminder that clearly naming all items brought to school will facilitate prompt identification and return; suggestions for naming include a permanent/laundry marker or consider stick on labels e.g. Stuck On You, My Name Label, Cash's, or Officeworks.

The school holidays are a great opportunity to review your child’s uniform. Please consider donating any items that you no longer require, and are of good quality, clean, have the current EHPS logo uniform (PSW or Spartan School World brands) and in good saleable condition (i.e. not dirty or torn – deliver these items to a rag bin). All donations sold raise funds for our school community. We request that donated items be delivered on the scheduled day and time only, as secondhand uniform is managed by parent volunteers and we need to carefully manage the storage space available at school. If you can’t attend on the specified day and time, please organise a friend/family member to do it for you. Please remember to remove or cross out your child's name before donating.

The Term 4 secondhand uniform sale and donation day is on Friday 17 October (end of week two).

Ritchie’s IGA Loyalty Program

Our school is part of the Ritchies Community Benefit Program (RCBP). EHPS received $22.49 from the RCBP in August, representing 0.5% of purchases made by customers who have selected EHPS as their organization to support.

If you shop at a Ritchies IGA (the local store is in Mount Waverley) and are a member of their loyalty program, please support EHPS by choosing our school as your nominated beneficiary. Each month we receive 0.5% of purchases made by customers who have selected our school each month. Please encourage family and friends who also shop at IGA to support EHPS.

PFC Meeting

We have rescheduled the remaining PFC meetings for this year. Our next meeting will now be held online on Thursday 30 October at 7pm. The link to join the online meeting will be shared via Compass closer to the date. All welcome to attend.
