We are developing our skills in reading what the weather outside is doling and predicting future weather patterns, in out Science unit.

The Grade 1/2 students have been extending their phonemic awareness and learning how to identify sounds in words. 3/4 News -

The 3/4 students have had an amazingly busy last few weeks of term. They have all worked so hard to pull off excellent concert performances, which we were so proud of.

We have now finished our swimming program for the year. Thank you to all our students for their participation, we hope you enjoyed it.

In reading and writing we have been busy collecting facts to write an information report, learning how to separate facts from opinions and how to take notes from text and video.

Maths was all about angles for the last week and some colourful hands on learning took place on the footpaths outside.

We have had our annual Book Week Parade and Grandparents Day, where many students had a special visitor in our classrooms. Congratulations to Weston from 3/4H for winning our cohort's “Best Costume.” Well done to everyone on their dress up efforts, it was a HUGE turnout to the parade- thank you to our amazing community for the support!

If you were wondering who guessed the correct number of lollies in the Book Fair jar: Charlton from 3/4L guessed 329 lollies. That is only 1 lolly more than the actual 328 that were in there. Well done!

Science lessons have been a highlight for the kids this term, experimenting with different ingredients to change the state of a solid, liquid or gas. We have finished off the unit by looking at recycling, and how we can recycle different items when heat is applied. We are SUPER excited to visit TwistED Science in Moorabbin to round off our Chemical Sciences learning.

We hope you have a fun and safe school holiday and see you back soon for term 4!

All four teams represented the school with enthusiasm, played hard and supported one another throughout the day. The highlight was the All Star Boys team, who went undefeated, winning all their games and taking out the grand final in an exciting match by just 2 points. It was a fantastic day of fun, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with every student giving their best effort and enjoying the experience.
