AWARDS

Awards will begin next week as we change to our St Mary McKillop of the Cross Awards - The recipient of this award demonstrated the attributes shown by St Mary of the Cross MacKillop

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

As you may have seen from our earlier email, we have just begun our new religion unit - The Circle of Life. In this unit, we will be exploring topics of grief, loss and suffering. We are aware that this unit may bring up emotions for students and families. We will ensure that a safe and supportive space is created through these discussions. A reminder that if you feel your child has any concerns or questions and/or would like to inform us of any information or reactions to this topic please feel free to email your child’s teacher. 

FIDGET TOOLS

Just a reminder that fidget tools are to be small enough to fit into your child's hand so as not to be a distraction to them or the students around them. It also shouldn’t make any noises. If your child has one that when you squeeze it, it increases in size this is a TOY NOT a tool. We would also ask that you don’t send ones that have any form of liquid inside them as we have had a number of them burst. If you need clarification on this feel free to email your child’s teacher.
