From the Principal

Dear families,
EXPERIENCE ST LIBORIUS - LIVING LIFE TO THE FULL
We have had a terrific start to Term 2 and it has been wonderful to see our students engaging so positively in their learning. Classrooms are buzzing with enthusiasm, curiosity and a strong sense of purpose, setting a fantastic tone for the term ahead.
We are very much looking forward to seeing our community in action tomorrow evening as we host our Experience St Liborius evening. This special event celebrates how our families, staff and students live life to the full at St Liborius and promises to be a fabulous night of fun, learning and connection.
The evening will offer hands‑on opportunities for current and prospective students and their families to experience what learning looks like at St Liborius, while also celebrating the wonderful community that sits at the heart of our school. There will be lucky door prizes, engaging activities and a BBQ, so we strongly encourage families to come along and invite friends and extended family to join us and discover what St Liborius is all about.
We would also like to extend a very special thank you to our local community partners who have generously supported this evening, including Meat Matters, Grant Rule Menswear, Peter Krenz Leisure Centre. Their support helps bring events like this to life and strengthens the close connections we value with our local community.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
A reminder to families that from next week onwards, students will be required to wear their full winter uniform. Our uniform shop is stocked and ready to support families who may need to purchase items for the new season. We also remind families that a large range of good quality second‑hand uniform items is available.
CELEBRATING MOTHERS AND MOTHER FIGURES
We warmly welcome all mothers, mother figures and special friends to join us for our Morning Tea for Mums on Friday, 8 May, from 8.15am onwards. Please come and enjoy a cuppa, some delicious snacks and friendly conversation in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
MULTILIT VISIT
Tomorrow, we are thrilled to welcome the team from MultiLit to our school. Joined by colleagues from CESL, they will be spending time in our junior classrooms, observing teaching and learning in action and meeting with our Leadership team.
This visit is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of our classroom teachers and support staff, whose commitment and expertise continue to strengthen student learning and growth. The partnership also highlights the benefits of strong system‑level support, helping ensure consistent, evidence‑informed practices that make a real difference for our students. We look forward to the professional conversations and shared learning that will help us build on our successes.
Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead.
With many blessings,
Alannah Darmody
Principal
