Year 7 News  

As we come to a close for term 1, we can reflect on the significant milestones for most students; transition to secondary school; self-management: organising books, keeping track of assessments and homework, making new friends and gaining a sense of belonging in our House System. 

If there are still challenges, our Student Management Team are available to continue to navigate and support students on their journey. 

We wish all our Year 7 families a well deserved and wonderful break. 

Significant Achievements from Year 7's

• Benjamin T participated in the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Asia-Pactific Championship in Incheon in South Korea. This was an international educational opportunity closely related to his STEM learning and robotics studies.

• Amy C received a bronze medal over the weekend at the 2026 Oceania Taekwondo Championships.

Geography: Bellbird Dell Excursion

Year 7s have been busy exploring Bellbird Dell in their Geography classes over the last 2 weeks! Students have been collecting data by taking photos of plants and animals and recording information on the liveability of Vermont.
