Welcome back!
Welcome back to Term 2. I hope families were able to enjoy some rest over the holidays and that students are returning feeling refreshed and ready for the term ahead. It is always pleasing to see the school come back to life, and from what I have observed this week, students have settled back into their routines quickly and with real purpose. Term 2 is a busy and rewarding term and I look forward to sharing what lies ahead with you in the coming weeks.
ANZAC Assembly
This morning we came together as a whole school to mark ANZAC Day. It was a simple but meaningful occasion, a chance to pause, reflect and acknowledge the sacrifice of so many men and women who served this country. Tomorrow morning I will join our school leaders at the Chatswood RSL Dawn Service. If you have never attended a dawn service with your family, I would encourage you to consider it. For many families, it becomes something they return to year after year.

Assets update
Painting works on A Block are nearing completion and we expect these to be finished by the end of next week. This work forms part of our scheduled maintenance program through the Department of Education and we are pleased to see it progressing well.
Unfortunately, over the school holidays our OOSH room experienced a flood which has required remediation works to be carried out. We understand this has caused some inconvenience and we want to reassure families that the matter is being addressed as a priority. We expect the remediation to be completed within a similar timeframe to the painting works. We will continue to keep the community updated as works progress.
