2026 Ensembles

Music tuition and ensemble rehearsals have resumed this week, and we are delighted to welcome our new students to the program! We look forward to seeing them connect with fellow musicians and immerse themselves in our vibrant music community.

All students are welcome to join our un-auditioned choirs. Please see the list of un-auditioned choirs and ages below:

• Years 7 to 12 - Avanti, directed by Ms Crawford. Avanti rehearse on a Wednesday morning at 7:15am in the Chapel. 
• Years 4 to 6 - Campo delle Voci, directed by Mrs Kiehne. Campo delle Voci rehearse on a Tuesday morning at 7:30am in the Chapel.
• Years 1 to 3 – Piccolo Choir, directed by Mrs Both. Piccolo Choir rehearse on a Friday morning at 7:30am in the Chapel. 

College App - Music Subscriptions

Please update the College App subscriptions to reflect the ensemble/s your child is participating in. Music ensembles can be found under the Culture tab. 

Private Music Tuition

We offer private specialist tuition for the following instrument groups:

• Piano (from Grade 3)
• Strings (from Grade 3)
• Band (from Grade 5)
• Vocal (from Grade 6)

Any student wishing to apply for Private Music Tuition can submit the following online Application Form, to be completed by a Parent or Caregiver. Tuition fees, terms and conditions are communicated in the Form. 

Musical 

Please mark your calendars for the Clayfield College Musical, taking place on Friday 6 March and Saturday 7 March. This production showcases the incredible talent and commitment of our students and staff, and we look forward to sharing it with our community.

Dancers Wanted

We are currently seeking additional dancers to join the cast of the College Musical. If you are an experienced dancer in Year 5 or above and would like to be considered, please attend Dance Troupe on Monday morning from 7:00 to 8:00am in the Drama Room. To register your interest, please email Mr Walker at awalker@clayfield.qld.edu.au.

Irish Dancing

Irish Dancing classes are held in the Drama Room on Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:00pm and are open to students in Years 1 to 7. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to build skill, confidence and cultural connection. To register, please email Mr Walker at awalker@clayfield.qld.edu.au
