Art

Congratulations to the four Year 6 students who were selected to be Art Captains for 2026. This role is vitally important in helping to run the Art program, these students may be responsible for putting up the displays you see in the main building and for the Art show, preparing materials for classes, cleaning and sorting equipment as well as many other duties.
Emma Y (6T) – “I have always been interested in Art because it has always been there for me, even when I felt down. Art has always been my speciality ever since I started in kindergarten, and I even take extra Art classes.”
Scarlett T (6T) – “I am looking forward to being an Art Captain because Art is fun, it is one of my best talents and you never know where it will take you. I am a fun, positive and caring girl and I will love making the Art room an even more welcoming place.”
Henry F (6T) – “I have always wanted to be an Art Captain ever since I heard about the role a few years ago and I think I am going to do a very good job.”
Willow D (6T) – I enjoy Art and am always thinking of creative ideas. I am always ready to take on new tasks or unexpected challenges. I put hard work and passion into my illustrations, always 100% effort, because no matter if it’s good or bad it’s your best and all you can do is give it a go.”
They were chosen because they have demonstrated a fantastic sense of creativity, an ability to work independently and follow instructions, and are always willing to have a go at new skills.
